Day 3, Thurs. Apr. 24  ...still in Hutchinson.  rain, low clouds and thunderstorms



We took a stroll in Sandhills State Park.  We got back to the car just before a thunderstorm hit.  And I mean just before.



Yoder is an Amish community 6 miles west of Hutchinson with a great restaurant.  I had the best fried chicken in 20 years (fresh home-grown chicken) and the best piece of pie in my entire life---cherry cream cheese.  Marilyn had a hot hamburger sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, and chocolate cream pie.
