The source L1551 IRS5 is at the tip of the jet at lower right. It emits an outflow towards the lower right. It probably also emits an outflow in the opposite direction, and that maybe be what's showing up in the middle left. It looks like the supersonic outflow crashed into something and shot off in different directions. Maybe it crashed into a cloud. I'm just speculating. It's cool looking though! The upper middle has 3 interesting sources, HL Tau, XZ Tau, and HH30. If you go to this website at the Hubble Space Telescope, you can see high-resolution images of these sources.
